The devil’s Food Cake is just one of the many devil’s pizzas that you can make at home with a little effort.
The cake is baked in a single oven and then covered with flour, baking powder, salt and a handful of butter to make a dough that is soft and fluffy.
The finished dough is then covered in a thin layer of parchment paper and rolled up to create a thick, dense cake that’s about 4 inches in diameter.
You can use any kind of cheese you like, but if you don’t like mozzarella, feel free to skip the butter.
The recipe comes together in about 10 minutes, but it takes about 15 minutes to prepare it, depending on how much dough you use.
Here’s how to make it: 1.
In a small bowl, mix together the flour, salt, baking soda and eggs.
Add the butter and let it mix for about 15 seconds.
The dough should start to stick to the sides of the bowl.
Divide the dough into four equal pieces and roll them out to about 4-inch wide.
Shape each piece into a small ball with your hands and pinch it to seal it.
Use a fork to flatten the balls, then roll each ball into a flat surface.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C).
Place the dough balls on a parchment lined baking sheet and place them on top of a rimmed baking sheet.
Bake the cake for about 8 to 10 minutes or until it’s golden brown on top.
It will take about 15 to 20 minutes to bake the whole cake, depending if you’re using a thicker cake or a thinner cake.
Serve the devil to your friends with a dollop of cheese, or you can sprinkle the chocolate sauce on top to add a little flavor.
